Is the VEVOR Plush Area Rug good for a living room?

Yes, for a low-traffic living room where softness matters most. Its high pile is cozy but harder to clean, so it suits adults and calm spaces better than busy family rooms.

Does the 9 x 12 ft size fit under a sectional?

A 9 x 12 ft rug fits under most sectionals with the front legs on the rug. Measure your room first, since it leaves little floor showing in smaller living rooms.

How do I clean a high-pile shag rug?

Shake it out and vacuum with a suction-only head, no beater bar. Spot-clean spills with a damp cloth and mild soap, and let it dry fully before walking on it.

Does it need a rug pad?

A pad is recommended. It keeps the lightweight rug from sliding on hard floors, adds cushioning, and helps the pile stay lofted.

Is $219.90 a good price for this rug?

It is the only new price listed, $219.90 at Best Buy as of November 8, 2026, so there is no recent range to judge it against. Compare it with similar 9 x 12 shag rugs before deciding.
