Is this futon firm enough for side sleepers?

It is medium firmness at about 3.5 inches thick. Side sleepers often find that too thin for hip and shoulder pressure and may prefer a thicker mattress or a topper.

How long until it fully expands after unboxing?

Vibe bear says to air it in sunlight for 2-3 days after opening the compressed pack. Expect it to look thin and creased on day one.

Can I use it on a bed frame or only on the floor?

It works on the floor, a tatami mat or a firm slatted base. On a soft or sagging surface the foam loses support.

How do I clean the cover?

The microfiber cover is not described as removable. Spot clean and vacuum it, and air it out regularly.

Does it fit a standard twin sheet?

Yes. At 39 x 80 inches it matches a standard twin flat or fitted sheet, though a deep-pocket sheet will be loose at this thickness.

When is the price lowest?

Floor mattresses like this tend to dip during back-to-school and holiday sales. Check the price history chart before buying.
