The Cyrix Battery Combiner is a microprocessor controlled heavy duty relay that automatically connects batteries in parallel when one of them has reached a pre-set voltage (indicating that the battery is being charged), and disconnects when the voltage decreases below float level (indicating that one or more batteries are being discharged). Cyrix Battery Combiners are an excellent replacement for diode isolators. The main feature is that there is virtually no voltage loss so that the output voltage of alternators or battery chargers does not need to be increased.Microprocessor controlled battery combiner/isolatorsSpecificationsBrand: Victron EnergyPart number: Varies by optionType: Microprocessor-controlled battery combinerVoltage: 12/24VRatings: 120 A (180 A for 5 s) or 230 A (500 A for 5 s)Connects at: 13.0 to 13.8 VSize (H x W x D): 1.8 x 1.8 x 3.1 (120A) or 2.6 x 4.0 x 2.0 (230A)Size: H × W× D Cyrix-ct 12/24V-120A intelligent combiner1.8 x 1.8 x 3.1Cyrix-ct 12/24V-230A intelligent combiner2.6 x 4.0 x 2.0Victron part numbers: CYR010120011; CYR010230010; CYR010120011RIs it right for your rig?It connects the starter and house batteries in parallel when either one is charged to between 13.0 and 13.8 V, and separates them when the voltage falls.120 A model: 120 A continuous (180 A for 5 s). 230 A model: 230 A (500 A for 5 s), with a status LED.It suits lead-acid house batteries. Below 13.0 V it stays open, so a smart alternator that runs low may never close it.Lithium house battery?
