Is this mug worth $10.18?

Yes, if you want a licensed Vikings glass. At $10.18 at Best Buy as of November 3, 2026, it costs less than most team glassware, and the etched logo will outlast printed graphics.

Can I put it in the dishwasher?

No. The mug is hand wash only, and hot dishwasher cycles can dull the etching or stress the glass.

Can I use it for hot coffee?

It is a glass stein meant for cold beverages. Hot coffee in a thick glass stein is awkward to hold and can crack the glass if it is cold.

It holds 12 oz and stands about 5 inches tall, so it fits a standard cabinet shelf and holds a full bottle of beer with a little headroom.

Is the logo printed or etched?

Etched into the glass, along with the toast text. It won't peel, but it is not personalizable beyond what is shown.

Licensed team glassware tends to dip around the holidays and after the season. At $10.18 it is already near the bottom of its recent range, so waiting may not save much.

Our take on the Vikings 12-oz. Glass Stein Mug

An officially licensed Minnesota Vikings glass stein holding 12 oz, etched with the team logo and the toast "This is to my Viking's breath, and this is to my Viking's death." It is a display and cold-drink piece, not a daily coffee mug, since the glass and etching are hand-wash only. At $10.18 at Best Buy as of November 3, 2026, it sits at the low end of its recent range, well under what most licensed glassware costs.
