Our take on the VistaTech Square Smart Watch

The VistaTech Square Smart Watch is a budget-oriented activity tracker with a square case and rubber band that pairs with both iOS and Android phones. It covers the basics: step and fitness tracking, phone notifications and message alerts. It is not a full smartwatch platform, so expect limited apps and no advanced sensors. No current price was given for this page, so check the latest best price against its recent range before buying.

Questions and answers

Is the VistaTech Square Smart Watch worth it?
For basic step tracking and phone notifications at a low price, yes. If you want GPS, heart-rate tracking or apps, spend more on a Fitbit or Apple Watch.
Does it work with iPhone and Android?
Yes. It lists support for both iOS and Android and pairs with your phone over Bluetooth for notifications.
Does it have GPS or a heart-rate monitor?
No GPS or heart-rate sensor is listed. It tracks activity, not detailed workouts or routes.
How long does the battery last?
Battery life is not stated in the listed specs. Expect roughly several days to a week on a basic tracker like this, but confirm before buying.
Is it waterproof?
Water resistance is not listed. Treat it as splash-resistant at best and take it off for swimming or showers.
When is it cheapest?
Budget trackers like this usually drop during Black Friday, back-to-school and Prime Day sales. Check the price history before buying.
