Is $144.75 a good price for this blender?

It is the best new price found across 5 stores as of November 5, 2026, and it sits at the low end of its recent range. Waiting is unlikely to save much unless a holiday sale appears.

Can it blend hot soup in the pot?

Yes. The stainless steel shaft is long enough to reach into a pot, and reviewers specifically praise making soup directly in the pot.

What comes in the box?

The blender, a whisk attachment, and a storage bag. It does not include a blending cup, but the shaft fits a 1-quart wide-mouth Mason jar.

How does it compare with a full-size Vitamix?

It is smaller, quieter and easier to store, but it has less power and no self-cleaning program. It suits small batches and in-pot blending rather than crushing ice or running long cycles.

Is it hard to use one-handed?

Some owners say yes. The power button is at the cord end, and at 2.86 lbs the motor head feels heavy when held in the air.

What does the warranty cover?

Vitamix offers a 3-year full warranty on this model, which is longer than the 1- to 2-year coverage typical of hand blenders.
