Is the Vivi 500W e-bike worth it at $369.89?

At $369.89 at Walmart as of November 6, 2026, it is one of the cheapest full-size electric mountain bikes available. It makes sense if you want basic assisted riding on a tight budget and accept short range and heavy weight.

How far can it really go on a charge?

Vivi claims 35-40 km (about 22-25 miles). Owners report less in practice, particularly when using the throttle or riding hills, so plan on the lower end.

Vivi lists a maximum speed of 35 km/h, roughly 22 mph. Actual speed depends on rider weight, terrain and battery level.

How long does the battery take to charge?

The 48V 374.4Wh battery takes 4-6 hours to charge from empty.

What size rider does it fit?

It is a 26-inch high-step hardtail with a 41.7-inch wheelbase and a 330 lb load capacity. It suits riders 16 and up, but shorter riders should check standover height before buying.

Is it good for real mountain trails?

It handles gravel paths and light trails, but the hardtail frame, basic fork and hub motor limit it on rough or steep terrain. It is better suited to commuting and easy off-road use.
