Our take on the VNM Simulation Direct Haptic Pedal Reactor

The VNM Direct Haptic Pedal Reactor is a stompbox that mounts on VNM pedals and turns in-game telemetry into vibration through two haptic motors. It simulates ABS, traction control and road detail at the brake and throttle, with low latency and SimHub control. It needs a VNM V2 Controller Box and VNM or VNM Lite pedals, and brackets for other pedals are sold separately. No current price was provided, so compare store prices before buying.

About the VNM Simulation Direct Haptic Pedal Reactor

The VNM Simulation Direct Haptic Pedal Reactor is a sim racing pedal haptic feedback module that converts telemetry into real time tactile feedback for improved control and immersion.

KEY BENEFITS

• Delivers real time tactile feedback for better driving awareness

• Improves braking and throttle control through physical cues

• Enhances immersion by simulating ABS, traction control, and road detail

• Provides ultra fast response with minimal latency

• Expands pedal feedback to match high end wheelbase performance

WHO IT’S FOR

This module is designed for sim racers who want more detailed feedback from their pedals to improve performance and immersion. It is ideal for intermediate to advanced drivers using VNM pedals or compatible setups who want to feel traction changes, ABS activation, and surface detail directly through their feet. It is especially useful in competitive racing where fast reaction to subtle changes can impact lap times.

KEY FEATURES

The VNM Simulation Direct Haptic Pedal Reactor uses advanced haptic technology derived from VNM telemetry force feedback systems to deliver fast and precise tactile signals. It translates in game telemetry into physical feedback at the pedal, allowing drivers to feel events such as wheel slip, traction control activation, and braking thresholds. The system is designed for strong and direct output, providing clear feedback without delay. It is compatible with VNM pedal systems and integrates with SimHub for customization, with additional native software support planned. The modular design allows users to run single or multiple reactors across throttle, brake, and clutch for a fully immersive setup.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

• Product type: Pedal haptic feedback module

• Feedback system: Telemetry based haptic output

• Response: Ultra fast low latency feedback

• Compatibility: VNM Pedal and VNM Lite Pedal

• Software: SimHub compatible with future native software support

• Configuration: Single or multi unit setups supported

REAL-WORLD USE / EXPERIENCE

In use, this module adds a new layer of feedback that allows drivers to feel exactly what the car is doing through the pedals. Subtle cues like ABS pulsing, traction loss, and surface changes become immediately noticeable, helping drivers react faster and make more precise inputs. This results in improved consistency, especially during braking and corner exit, while also creating a more immersive and connected driving experience.

All VNM Pedal and VNM Lite Pedal now ship with the V2 Controller Box . Please watch this video to identify your controller version. Users with a V1 Controller Box or third-party pedals will need to purchase a V2 Controller Box

Questions and answers

Do I need a VNM controller box?
Yes. The reactor requires a VNM V2 Controller Box to run. It is not included with the pedal reactor.
Which pedals does it fit?
It fits VNM and VNM Lite pedals with the included brake and throttle adapter brackets. Other pedals need separate brackets.
What comes in the box?
Two haptic motors, two adapter brackets for brake and throttle, and one power supply. Pedals and the controller box are not included.
Does it work without SimHub?
SimHub is the main way to drive the haptics today. VNM SimCenter is supported, and native haptics setup in VNM Config is expected but not yet available.
Can I add more than one reactor?
Yes. The modular design supports single or multiple reactors across throttle, brake and clutch, so you can add feedback pedal by pedal.
Is it worth it over a bass shaker?
It gives localized feedback right at the pedal, which is more precise than a chassis-mounted shaker. If you already run VNM pedals and a V2 box, it is the more direct upgrade.
What do buyers say about the VNM Simulation Direct Haptic Pedal Reactor?
Rated 5 out of 5 from 3 ratings. Buyers like: Very immersive, adds extra signals about what the car is doing; Easy to assemble, install and use; mounted in minutes and worked out of the box; Crisp, consistent feedback. Common complaints: Takes some time to set up to personal preference; Requires SimHub, an extra piece of software that must run and can crash.
