Is this set worth $14.29?

Yes, for a seven-piece silicone set that is a low price. You get the main tools most cooking needs, and the one-piece build is the feature that matters most at this price.

Is it safe for nonstick pans?

Yes. Silicone will not scratch nonstick or ceramic coatings, which is the main reason to choose it over metal utensils.

Can it go in the dishwasher?

Yes, the set is dishwasher safe. Wash it in warm soapy water before the first use to remove manufacturing residue.

Seven pieces: slotted turner, soup ladle, spoon spatula, pasta server, spatula, slotted spoon and spoon, all in blue.

Does the silicone handle get hot?

No. Silicone insulates well, so the handles stay cool during normal stovetop cooking.

Silicone utensil sets usually drop around Black Friday, back-to-school and Mother's Day sales. The current $14.29 at Walmart is already near the bottom of the usual range.
