Our take on the Walker Edison 5 Piece Patio Dining Set

The Walker Edison 5 Piece Patio Dining Set is a solid acacia wood outdoor dining set with one 60-inch rectangular table and four X-back chairs with polyester cushions. The wood grain finish and crisscross chair backs give it a warmer look than most metal patio sets. It seats four, holds up to 350 lbs per chair, and needs assembly. No umbrella hole, no folding, and the cushions are not fade resistant, so plan on shade or covers.

Questions and answers

Is this set worth it compared with metal patio sets?
Yes if you want a wood look and a table that seats four at a mid-range price. Metal sets last longer in full sun and need less upkeep, but they look colder.
Does the table have an umbrella hole?
No. The tabletop has no umbrella hole, so you need a freestanding umbrella or a shaded spot.
Can the chairs hold heavier adults?
Each chair is rated for 350 lbs, which covers most adults. The tabletop is also rated at 350 lbs.
How long does assembly take?
Plan on one to two hours with two people. The chairs have several parts each, and the table needs the legs bolted on.
Will the cushions survive rain and sun?
The polyester cushions handle light rain but are not fade resistant. Bring them in or cover them when not in use to slow fading.
What is in the box?
One outdoor dining table and four X-back patio chairs, including the cushions. Tools for assembly are typically included.
