Questions and answers

Is the Walker's FireMax worth it?
It makes sense if you want one rechargeable unit that handles hearing protection and short-range talk. If you mainly shoot indoors or with large calibers, a higher-NRR muff is the safer buy.
Is NRR 20 dB enough for shooting?
It is on the low side. Many range muffs rate 22 to 30 dB, so pair the FireMax with plugs for indoor or magnum shooting.
How long does the battery last?
Walker's claims up to 150 hours per charge. Real runtime drops with amplification and walkie-talkie use, so charge it before a long range day.
What comes in the box?
The package includes two earmuffs and two walkie-talkies, plus USB-C charging. Check the listing for the cable.
Can I use it for hunting as well as the range?
Yes. The electronic amplification lets you hear surroundings, and the walkie-talkie helps with communication. The 20 dB rating suits outdoor shooting better than indoor lanes.
When is it cheapest?
Electronic muffs usually drop around hunting season and major sales events. Watch the price history before buying.
