Our take on the Wallace Leather Sofa

The Wallace is an 84-inch top-grain aniline leather sofa that reworks the English Chesterfield with channel stitching, piping and a sled-style walnut-stained wood base. The tight seat and back use medium-density foam wrapped in Dacron over a sinuous spring system. Aniline leather is unprotected, so it shows natural markings and darkens with use. At $5,225 at Hausful as of November 4, 2026, it sits at the top of its recent range, with only two stores listing it new.

Questions and answers

Is the Wallace sofa worth $5,225?
That is the best new price as of November 4, 2026, at the top of its recent range. You are paying for top-grain aniline leather and a solid wood base, so compare it with other aniline leather sofas before deciding.
How does aniline leather hold up?
Aniline leather is dyed without a protective top coat, so it absorbs oils and shows scratches and fading. It develops a patina, but it needs conditioning and quick cleanup of spills.
Will the Wallace sofa fit my room?
It measures 84 inches wide, 34.5 inches deep and 28 inches high, with a 16-inch seat height. Check doorways and turns on the delivery path, since the frame does not break down.
Can I replace the cushions?
No. The seat and back are tight, fixed foam cushions, so they cannot be removed, flipped or swapped. Wear shows on the same surface over time.
What is included with the sofa?
One sofa. The wood base has plastic bumpers fitted to protect floors. The Wallace Chair is sold separately.
When is the Wallace sofa cheapest?
Only two stores list it new, so discounts are rare. Watch both listings around major sales; the current $5,225 at Hausful is the best price as of November 4, 2026.
Where is the Wallace Leather Sofa cheapest?
At Hausful, for $5,225.00, as of our latest check.
Where can I buy the Wallace Leather Sofa?
2 stores we checked sell it, including Wayfair, Hausful.
