Our take on the Wayfair Basics All Season Polyester Down Alternative Comforter

A polyester microfiber comforter with down-alternative fill, sold in Twin, Full and King and in five colors. It is a budget all-season layer, not a heavyweight winter duvet. The best new price is $21.99 at Wayfair as of November 4, 2026, and only one store lists it new, so there is no price competition to shop across.

Questions and answers

Is it warm enough for winter?
Probably not on its own. It is an all-season comforter with modest loft, so most people add a blanket or use it as a summer layer.
Is it good for people with allergies?
Yes. The fill is polyester down alternative, not feathers, and the microfiber shell can be machine washed.
What sizes and colors does it come in?
Twin, Full and King, in White, Light Gray, Indigo, Rust and Blue Dusk.
Is $21.99 a good price?
It is a low price for a down-alternative comforter in any size. Only Wayfair lists it new as of November 4, 2026, so there is no cheaper store to compare against.
Does it come with shams or a duvet cover?
No. It is sold as the comforter alone; shams and covers are separate.
How should I wash it?
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and tumble dry low. A front-loading machine or a large commercial washer handles a King size better.
Where is the Wayfair Basics All Season Polyester Down Alternative Comforter cheapest?
At Wayfair, for $21.99, as of our latest check.
