Is the Amari sofa worth $1,419.99?

It is a fair price for a down-filled, slipcovered sofa of this size. You pay for the washable cover and plush seating rather than a designer brand.

Can the slipcover be washed?

Yes, the cover is removable for cleaning. Follow the fabric care label, and expect to retuck and smooth it when you put it back on.

How firm is the seat?

It is soft. The down fill gives a sink-in feel, so it suits people who dislike firm foam, but it needs fluffing to keep its shape.

It measures 83 inches wide, 38 inches deep and 40 inches high, with a 22-inch seat depth. Measure your space and doorways before ordering.

What comes in the box?

The sofa and two throw pillows. The slipcover is included and arrives fitted.

When is the best time to buy?

Wayfair runs sofa sales around major holidays and long weekends. With one new price listed as of November 7, 2026, watch those events for a drop.

Our take on the Wayfair Custom Upholstery Amari 83" Slipcovered Sofa

The Amari is an 83-inch slipcovered sofa from Wayfair's custom upholstery line, built on a solid and engineered wood frame with down-filled cushions, rolled arms and a skirted silhouette. It seats three at a 66-inch seat width, holds up to 750 lb and ships with two throw pillows. The slipcover is the point: you can wash or swap it instead of reupholstering. At $1,419.99 at Wayfair as of November 7, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no lower recent price to wait for.
