Is the Weber Genesis E-335 worth it?

For frequent family cooks, yes. It offers a large cooking area, a side burner, and Weber's parts support. Casual cooks who grill a few times a month may find a two-burner model enough.

How does it compare with the Genesis E-325?

The E-335 adds a side burner and a sear zone over the E-325. If you never use a side burner, the E-325 saves money for nearly the same main grilling space.

Does it come with a propane tank?

No. The grill ships without a tank, so budget for a standard 20 lb liquid propane cylinder. It also requires assembly.

How big is the cooking area?

About 787 square inches total across the main grates and warming rack. That is enough for roughly 20 to 25 burgers at once.

When is the best time to buy?

Prices usually drop around Memorial Day, July 4th, and end-of-season clearance in late summer. Compare the current price with its recent range before buying.

Does it work with natural gas?

This model is set up for liquid propane. A natural gas version exists but is sold separately, and the two are not interchangeable without a conversion kit.

Our take on the Weber Genesis E-335 Gas Grill (Liquid Propane)

The Weber Genesis E-335 is a three-burner freestanding propane gas grill with a porcelain-enameled firebox and lid, a side burner, and a sear zone. It stands out for its large 787-square-inch cooking area, a 12,000 BTU side burner, and Weber's GS4 grilling system with a grease-management tray. It is a mid-to-upper-tier grill aimed at people who cook for a family or entertain often. Shoppers should compare its current price against its recent range before buying, since Genesis models see frequent seasonal discounts.
