Is the Wen 20V polisher worth it for a beginner?

Yes, if you want a cheap cordless tool for waxing and light polishing. It is not a substitute for a corded dual-action polisher for serious paint correction.

How long do the batteries last?

The kit includes two 2.0 Ah batteries. Expect short runs per charge at full speed, so plan to swap packs and recharge between panels.

What size pads does it use?

It takes 10-inch pads, which is larger than the 5- to 6-inch pads most detailers use. Larger pads cover flat panels faster but are harder to control on curves.

Does it come with pads or polish?

The kit lists the polisher, two batteries and a charger. Pads and polish are typically sold separately, so check the box contents before buying.

When is the best time to buy it?

At $63.99 at eBay as of November 7, 2026 it is already near the bottom of its range. Watch for bundle deals that add pads, since those can be better value than a lower tool price.
