Is the Harmony Sofa worth it?

At the recent low of $2,299.00 it is a reasonable buy for a contract-grade sofa with washable performance velvet covers. At the $4,298.00 high it competes with solid-wood sofas that will likely outlast it.

How does it compare with the West Elm Andes or York sofas?

The Harmony has a lower back and a bench seat with loose pillow backs, while the York is a deeper, more traditional silhouette and the Andes is a tighter, more tailored build. Choose Harmony if you want a low, relaxed look and washable covers.

Are the cushion covers machine washable?

Yes. The loose, reversible cushions have zip-off covers, and West Elm's performance velvet is designed to be cleaned. Follow the care label and wash cold, then air dry to avoid shrinking.

What are the dimensions?

This configuration is 76 inches wide, 35 inches high, with a 19-inch seat height, 23-inch arm height, and 5-inch removable legs. It is the petite-depth version, so check the seat depth against your room before ordering.

Is it good for a family with kids or pets?

The performance velvet and zip-off covers help with spills and stains, and the contract-grade rating suggests durability. The light-colored velvet will still show marks, so expect regular cleaning.

The lowest recent price was $2,299.00 on October 31, 2026, well below the $4,298.00 seen the day before. West Elm runs frequent furniture promotions, so waiting for a sale event is usually worthwhile.

The West Elm Harmony Sofa is a modern, bench-cushion sofa with a low loose-pillow back, loose reversible cushions with zip-off covers, and removable veneered legs. It is built on an engineered hardwood frame and upholstered in hand-finished Performance Distressed Velvet, and it is rated for both residential and contract (commercial) use. The listed configuration is the petite-depth 76-inch width with a 19-inch seat height. Its lowest recent price was $2,299.00 on October 31, 2026, against a high of $4,298.00 on October 30, 2026, so the spread between the two days is unusually wide.
