Does the sham come with a pillow insert?

No. It is the cover only. You need a 26-inch square Euro insert, sold separately at West Elm and most bedding stores.

What size pillow does a Euro sham fit?

A Euro sham fits a 26 by 26 inch square insert. That is larger than a standard pillow and is usually used as a decorative back layer.

Is it machine washable?

Yes, it is cotton and can be machine washed. Wash cold and tumble low to limit shrinkage and fading of the print.

How does it compare with West Elm's solid Euro shams?

Same cotton construction and Euro sizing; the difference is the geometric print. Pick the print if you want pattern, the solids if you want something that won't date.

When is the best time to buy West Elm bedding?

West Elm runs bedding promotions around major holiday sales and clearance events. Check the price history here before buying at full price.

Our take on the West Elm Modern Geo Sham

The West Elm Modern Geo Sham is a cotton Euro sham with a geometric print, sold as a decorative cover for a 26-inch square Euro pillow insert. It is a style piece rather than a bedding workhorse: the print and cotton weave are the draw, and the insert is not included. Pricing for this sham is not listed here, so compare it against West Elm's other cotton Euro shams before buying.
