Questions and answers

Is the iGen11000DFc worth it for home backup?
Yes if you need 240V output and clean inverter power for a transfer switch or critical circuits. At $1,899 at FactoryPure as of November 4, 2026, it costs less than many comparable 11,000-watt inverter units.
How many watts can it run on propane?
It is rated at 8,100 running watts on propane versus 11,000 peak watts on gasoline. Expect roughly a quarter less usable power on propane.
Can it power a house through a transfer switch?
Yes. The L14-30R and 14-50R outlets supply 240 volts for a transfer switch or panel interlock, though 8,100 running watts will not cover a whole house with central air.
How loud is it?
Westinghouse rates it at 64 dB, which is about the level of a normal conversation but noticeable across a yard. It gets louder under heavy load.
Does it come with a remote and battery?
It ships with a remote fob for electric start and an onboard battery for push-button starting, plus a recoil pull start as backup. Check the box contents with the seller.
When is the price lowest?
Generator prices tend to dip outside storm season and around fall clearance. Track the price history here and compare against the $1,899 FactoryPure listing as of November 4, 2026.
Where is the Westinghouse iGen11000DFc Remote Electric Start 11000 -Watt Dual Fuel Inverter Generator cheapest?
