Is this vacuum good for water spills?

Yes. It is rated for wet suction, so it can pick up standing water from basements, garages and flooded floors. Empty the tank and dry the filter afterward.

How big is the 11-gallon tank in practice?

Eleven gallons is roughly 1.5 cubic feet of debris, enough for a full garage sweep or several buckets of water. It fills fast with heavy wet material, so plan on emptying it mid-job.

Does the 4.5 peak HP rating mean real power?

Peak HP is a marketing figure measured at the motor's limit, not continuous output. The 1350 W rating is the more useful number, and it is strong for a household shop vacuum.

Can it blow as well as vacuum?

The 3-in-1 design includes a blower function, useful for clearing sawdust and leaves from hard surfaces. You switch the hose to the exhaust port to use it.

Is $113.99 a good price?

Lowe's lists it at $113.99 as of November 7, 2026, and it is the only new price shown. Without other stores to compare, check the price against similar 10-12 gallon wet/dry vacuums before buying.

What do I need to buy separately?

Expect the hose, extension wands and nozzles in the box. Replacement filters and extra bags are usually sold separately, and a cartridge filter is needed for dry pickup.

Our take on the Wet Dry Shop Vacuum 11 Gal 4.5 Peak HP 3-in-1

This is a corded wet/dry shop vacuum with an 11-gallon tank, a 4.5 peak HP motor rated at 1350 W, and a 3-in-1 setup for wet pickup, dry debris and blowing. It runs on AC power with a 7-foot cord, so it suits garage, basement and job-site cleanup rather than quick indoor touch-ups. At $113.99 at Lowe's as of November 7, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare it against.
