Our take on the WHALL 6.2QT Air Fryer Oven

The WHALL 6.2QT Air Fryer Oven is a 1600 W countertop air fryer with a stainless steel body, LED touchscreen and 12 presets. Its 6.2-quart basket sits in the large-capacity class, big enough for a whole chicken or sides for a family of four. It is a budget-tier machine, so expect basic build and no smart features. No current price was provided, so check the price history before buying.

Pros
  • 6.2-quart basket fits a whole chicken or a family meal
  • 12 presets cover fries, chicken, fish, bake and more
  • 1600 W heats fast for its size
  • Touchscreen is easier to wipe clean than dials
  • Stainless steel body looks sturdier than most budget plastic fryers
Cons
  • Large footprint takes real counter space
  • Basket and crisper plate are bulky to hand-wash
  • Budget build: thin metal and a short warranty are common
  • Presets run hot or uneven; manual temperature and time work better
  • No app, probe or dehydrate-level precision

Questions and answers

Is the WHALL 6.2QT worth it?
It is a reasonable pick if you want a big basket at a low price and will use manual settings. If you cook daily and want even results and a long warranty, a mid-range Cosori or Ninja is safer.
How does it compare with a 5.8QT Cosori?
The WHALL is slightly bigger and cheaper but less consistent. Cosori models brown more evenly and have better support; the WHALL wins on capacity per dollar.
How much food fits in 6.2 quarts?
About 5 to 6 pounds of fries, a 4-pound chicken, or a single layer of wings for four people. Don't fill past the max line; overcrowding steams instead of crisps.
What comes in the box?
The fryer, a removable crisper plate or basket insert, and a manual. Check the listing for the exact accessories, since bundle contents vary by seller.
When is it cheapest?
Budget air fryers like this one drop most during Black Friday, Prime Day and back-to-school sales. Check the price history chart and buy below the recent average.
Does it need preheating?
Yes, about 3 to 5 minutes at the set temperature gives more even results. Add that time to the recipe, or use the preset's built-in preheat if it has one.
