Questions and answers

Is $34.99 a good price for this cat tree?
It is the only new price we have, $34.99 at PetSmart as of November 5, 2026. That is cheap for a tree with a perch, sisal and a cushion, so there is little room to wait for a drop.
Is it big enough for two cats?
It is 29.5 in tall with a single perch, so it suits two cats only if they take turns. Larger cats will find the perch and cushion cramped.
Does it come with catnip and a toy?
Yes. The box includes a dangle toy, a soft removable cushion and a 0.2 g packet of catnip.
How much scratching surface does it have?
Sisal is listed as the frame material rather than a full wrapped post, so expect a modest scratch area. Cats that shred posts heavily may need a separate scratcher.
Is it stable enough for a jumping cat?
At this size and price the build is light. Place it against a wall or on carpet to reduce wobble.
Can the cushion be washed?
Yes, the cushion is removable, so it can be taken off and washed separately from the frame.
Where is the Whisker City 29.5-in Laid-Back Lookout Cat Tree with Catnip cheapest?
At PetSmart, for $34.99, as of our latest check.
