The Wild Badger Power 20V 12" is a battery-powered brushless chainsaw for light yard work: limbing, pruning and cutting small logs up to about 4 inches across. It runs a 12-inch low-kickback bar at 43 feet per second with a 2.5-amp brushless motor, tool-free chain tensioning and automatic bar lubrication. It ships with a 4.0 Ah battery and charger, so it is ready to use out of the box. It is a compact homeowner saw, not a replacement for a gas saw on large trees.
Lowest price we've seen: $99.00 on Nov 1 at Walmart. Tracked across 1 store since Nov 1.
With only 8 ratings at 4.2 out of 5, feedback is thin. Owners generally describe it as an easy, lightweight saw for small jobs.
