Is the Windhorse C3 worth $399?

At $399 it is cheap for a scooter with a child seat, dual disc brakes and dual suspension. If you need to carry a child on short trips, it is good value; if you want a fast commuter, a lighter stand-up scooter does that better.

How fast does it actually go?

Windhorse claims 20 mph, but one retail listing states 15.5 mph. Treat 15 to 20 mph as the realistic range and check the spec sheet on the listing you buy from.

What is the real battery range?

The battery is 480Wh (48V, 10Ah) and Windhorse claims 25 miles. Expect less at full speed, with a passenger or on hills; one listing quotes 20 to 50 miles, which is not credible for this pack.

Can it carry an adult and a child together?

Yes, that is the point of the extra seat, and the 330 lb capacity covers most adult-plus-child pairs. Check the combined weight against 330 lb before riding.

How long does charging take?

Four to five hours from empty with the included charger. There is no fast-charge option, so plan on charging overnight.

What comes in the box?

The scooter, the detachable cargo basket, the child seat and a charger. Confirm the exact contents on the Amazon listing, since accessory bundles vary.

Our take on the Windhorse C3

The Windhorse C3 is a family-oriented electric scooter with a second seat for a child, a detachable cargo basket and dual suspension. It runs a 500W brushless motor (850W peak) to a claimed 20 mph, with a 48V 10Ah (480Wh) battery rated for about 25 miles and dual disc brakes on 14-inch tires. The carbon alloy steel frame carries up to 330 lb, and the scooter weighs 59.3 lb. Its best new price is $399 at Amazon as of November 3, 2026, and only one store lists it new, so there is no meaningful recent price range to compare against.
