Of course, it's no fun to drive a convertible if you can't feel some wind in your hair. They key is to achieve the right amount of cooling breeze so that you and your front-seat passenger can ride comfortably without arriving at your destination looking like you were extras on the set of Twister. To achieve this balance, we developed a patent pending dual-layer approach. The first layer gives the screen rigidity against the wind, while maintaining the right amount of flexibility so you can still move your seat back-and-forth without cracking or breakage.
The second layer diffuses the wind so that the front seat passengers feel a cooling breeze instead of a hair-hurricane. Finally, the dual layer system is thick enough to diffuse the wind, but thin enough to enable the driver to use the rear-view mirror safely during the day or night.
Installation is easy! Our Windscreen's are designed to be installed by one person in under 5 minutes. There are only two straps in the installation process! One strap is attached easily to the headrest pylon, the other to the passenger side pylon. Adjusting the height off the windscreen is done easily by moving the headrest up and down (this ensures that the Windscreen is level even if the passenger/driver seats are not even).
