Our take on the Winston Porter 39.4 inch Massage Power Lift Recliner

This is a wide power lift recliner in slate gray velvet, about 39.4 inches across, with built-in massage, heat, cup holders and a USB port. The lift function raises the seat to help you stand, which is the main reason buyers pick this type of chair. At $410 at Wayfair as of November 5, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare it against.

Questions and answers

Is this recliner worth it?
For a lift chair with massage, heat and USB at $410 at Wayfair as of November 5, 2026, it is inexpensive. If you mainly need the lift assist and want extras, it is a reasonable buy; if you need long-term durability, consider a higher-end brand.
How much weight does the lift support?
The listing does not state a weight capacity. Ask the store before buying, especially if the user is heavy or needs the lift daily.
Will it fit through my doorway?
It is about 39.4 inches wide and 39 inches deep, so check your door width and room clearance. A chair this wide often needs to be assembled in the room where it will sit.
Does the massage chair need to be plugged in?
Yes. Power recline, lift, massage and heat all run on electricity, so it needs a nearby outlet. It will not recline or lift during a power outage.
What comes in the box?
The chair ships unassembled with its power components and remote. Check the listing for the exact included parts, since cup holders and USB are built into the chair.
When is it cheapest?
Only one new price is listed, $410 at Wayfair as of November 5, 2026. Watch for holiday furniture sales, when lift chairs often drop.
Where is the Winston Porter 39.4 inch Massage Power Lift Recliner cheapest?
At Wayfair, for $410.00, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Winston Porter 39.4 inch Massage Power Lift Recliner?
Rated 4.1 out of 5 from 752 ratings.
