Questions and answers

Is the Wishead heated mattress pad worth it?
It is a reasonable pick if you want separate heat zones on a California King and prefer a pad under the sheet to a heated blanket. At $159 at Distritech as of November 3, it sits in the middle of the heated-pad market.
How does it compare with a heated blanket?
A mattress pad warms the bed from below and stays flat under the sheet, which suits people who dislike blankets draped over them. A heated blanket is more portable and easier to wash.
Does it have an auto shut-off?
No timer or auto-off figure is published for this model. Check the controller and manual before relying on it for all-night use.
What size bed does it fit?
This listing is California King, which is 72 by 84 inches. It will not fit a standard Eastern King, which is 76 by 80 inches.
What comes in the box?
Expect the heated pad and its dual controllers with cords. Verify the plug type and cord length for your outlet before buying.
When is it cheapest?
Heated bedding tends to drop in late fall and around Black Friday, and again as winter stock clears in February. Track the price history rather than buying on the first cold snap.
What do buyers say about the Wishead Electric Heated Mattress Pad Dual Control 9 Heat Settings Electric Bed Warmer?
Rated 4.6 out of 5 from 19 ratings.
