Our take on the WIWACAM MW11 4K Ultra HD WiFi Hidden Cam Camera on Wall Plug

The WIWACAM MW11 is a plug-in indoor camera built into a wall adapter, so it looks like an ordinary charger rather than a camera. It records 4K Ultra HD video over Wi-Fi, has a 130° field of view, night vision and motion sensing. It is a niche device aimed at home monitoring where a visible camera is unwanted. No current price was provided for this page, so check the live comparison before buying.

Questions and answers

Is the WIWACAM MW11 worth it?
It suits buyers who need a discreet plug-in indoor camera with 4K video and night vision. Compare its live price against standard indoor cameras, which often cost less and are easier to set up.
Does it need Wi-Fi to work?
Yes. It connects over Wi-Fi for live viewing and alerts, so it needs a strong signal at the outlet. Without Wi-Fi it cannot stream or send motion notifications.
How wide is the view?
The lens covers 130°, which takes in most of a small to medium room from a wall outlet. Place it high and angled toward the area you want to watch.
Can it see in the dark?
Yes, it has night vision for low-light recording. Infrared range drops off with distance, so keep the subject within a few meters.
Is a hidden camera legal to use?
Laws vary by state and country, and recording people without consent can be illegal. Use it only where you have the right to record, and never in bathrooms or other private spaces.
What comes in the box?
Expect the plug-in camera unit and a quick-start guide. A microSD card and mounting hardware are not confirmed, so check the listing before ordering.
