Are the covers really machine washable?

The listing says the covers are washable, but check the care label for water temperature and whether tumble drying is allowed. Velvet can mat or shrink if washed or dried too hot.

Can the sections be rearranged?

Yes. The modular pieces can be separated and reordered, so the sofa can run straight or form an L with the ottoman. Connectors or brackets keep sections from sliding apart.

Does the ottoman open for storage?

Yes. The ottoman has a lift-off or hinged top with storage inside, useful for blankets, pillows or toys. Expect shallow storage rather than large-item capacity.

How does velvet hold up with pets?

Velvet is soft but catches pet hair and shows claw snags. Washable covers help, but a tightly woven fabric is usually easier to keep clean with cats.

Is this sofa good for a small apartment?

A three-seat modular sofa suits small and mid-size rooms, and the ottoman can serve as a footrest or extra seat. Measure your space first, since modular sofas need clearance to rearrange.

When is the best time to buy it?

Furniture discounts cluster around holiday sales and end-of-season clearances. Check the price history to see whether the current price is near its low.

Our take on the WJS Home Modular Sectional Sofa with Storage Ottoman, Beige Velvet 3-Seater with Washable Covers

The WJS Home Modular Sectional is a three-seat beige velvet sofa with a storage ottoman and removable, washable covers. Its modular pieces can be rearranged, and the ottoman doubles as a footrest or extra seat with hidden storage. Velvet shows marks and creases more than woven fabric, so the washable covers matter for households with kids or pets. No current price was provided, so check the price history before buying.
