Is the WorkPro Home Tool Set worth it?

For light home repair and assembly, yes. At $35.99 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, it costs little more than a decent screwdriver set and adds a hammer, level and 125 pieces. Skip it if you need a drill or heavy-duty tools.

Does it include a drill?

No. The only powered tool is a rechargeable cordless screwdriver, which drives screws but cannot drill holes. For drilling you need a separate drill.

What comes in the box?

A rechargeable screwdriver with battery, a level, a claw hammer, and a mix of slotted and Phillips bits, sockets and hand tools, all in a compact blue case. The full 125-piece list is on the packaging.

How does it compare with a bigger mechanic's tool set?

This kit is aimed at household jobs like furniture and fixtures, not auto repair. A mechanic's set has more sockets and ratchets but usually no hammer, level or power screwdriver.

Is the battery included and rechargeable?

Yes. The screwdriver ships with a rechargeable battery included, so it works out of the box. Charge it before the first big job.

Tool kits like this usually drop around Black Friday and Father's Day. The current $35.99 at Walmart is already near the bottom of its recent range.
