Wouxun KG-XS20G Plus GMRS Mobile Two-Way Radio

Stop using business or amateur radios for GMRS! The Wouxun KG-XS20G Plus is FCC-approved specifically for GMRS use, so it is completely legal! FCC ID: WVTWOUXUN25

You want the powerful versatility of a premium GMRS mobile radio, but without the premium price? You get it all with the Wouxun KG-XS20G Plus! It takes the best features of a full-size mobile radio and puts them into a compact package that fits in almost any vehicle with ease. And it does all this at a price that won't wallop your wallet. It's not your typical mobile GMRS radio!

The KG-XS20G Plus has 30 GMRS channels, including 8 repeater channels, and can receive on dual UHF and VHF bands. It has NOAA weather channels and has a built-in FM radio. It's not your typical in-dash car radio, to be sure.

The XS20G Plus is loaded with features, some that are standard on a few other mainstream GMRS mobiles, but many more that aren't. These include 999 programmable memory channels, simultaneous dual channel receive, channel and frequency modes, wide and narrow bandwidth options, and support for both standard and non-standard CTCSS/DCS tones and codes, plus split tones and tone scan. It has channel scan, priority channel scanning, and the ability to create up to 10 scan groups. This is not your basic mobile GMRS radio.

Other features include group call, all call and select call options, compander, DTMF encode and decode, high- and low-power selectivity, single-tone pulse frequency, reverse frequency, talk around, an SOS function, English voice prompts, and a stopwatch timer. Again, not a basic mobile GMRS radio.

The KG-XS20G Plus is as functional outside the case as it is within. It sports a full-color dual-channel LCD display that's easy on the eyes. The display has four color themes. It also features a Night Mode option that can be activated by a programmable key. It can display one or both A and B areas of the radio, as well as channel names, numbers, or frequencies, plus Caller ID and vehicle voltage info. A powerful speaker is built into the top of the unit, with ample volume to be heard over road noise. A 3.5mm jack on the back of the radio allows you to connect an external speaker as needed.

It's also quite rugged. The Wouxun XS20G Plus is rated IP65 for dust ingress and water resistance, and the hand microphone is rated IP55, making it a great GMRS radio for off-road adventures!

The KG-XS20G Plus includes a handheld speaker mic with a full DTMF keypad. It has TX and RX LED indicators and a volume knob for independent audio control on the front of the speaker mic. The mic's keypad is also backlit for easier operation in the dark.
