Is the Wrangler Smart Luggage Set worth it?

If you want a cup holder and USB port on a carry-on, it is a fair value at its current price. If you just need a durable 20-inch spinner, a plain bag gives more interior room for the money.

Does the USB port include a battery?

No. The USB port is a pass-through, so you need to supply your own power bank and cable inside the bag.

Will it fit in an overhead bin?

At 20 x 13.5 x 11 inches it is sized as a carry-on for most major US airlines. Overpacking or using the expansion zipper can push it past stricter sizers.

How does it compare with the previous Wrangler spinner?

This version adds the cup holder, phone holder and USB port to the standard 20-inch spinner. The trade-off is extra exterior bulk and a slightly higher weight.

The 20-inch carry-on suitcase only. No power bank, cable or TSA lock is included.

Smart luggage tends to drop around back-to-school and Black Friday sales. Its latest best price is already near the low end of its recent range.

Our take on the Wrangler Smart Luggage Set

The Wrangler Smart Luggage Set is a 20-inch carry-on spinner with a built-in cup holder, USB port and phone holder, aimed at travelers who want to keep drinks and devices at hand in the terminal. It has four multi-directional spinner wheels, top and side handles, four side studs, and an expandable main compartment with a fully lined interior and accessory pockets. At 6.92 lbs it is light for a hard-sided carry-on, though the utility hardware adds bulk. Its latest best price sits near the low end of its recent range, so it is a reasonable buy now if the cup holder and USB port matter to you.
