Is 450 lumens bright enough?

For a dark room and a screen up to about 80 inches, yes. In a lit room or outdoors before dusk, the image will look washed out.

Does it need a separate streaming stick?

No. It connects over Wi-Fi and runs apps itself, and HDMI is there for consoles, laptops or a stick if you prefer one.

What resolution is the picture?

Native 1920 x 1080 through a DLP chip. It accepts lower-resolution sources but shows them at 1080p.

Can I connect a console or laptop?

Yes, through the HDMI input. Bluetooth handles audio to speakers or headphones.

Is it good for outdoor movie nights?

Only after dark. At 450 lumens it is dim for daylight, but it works on a screen or light wall once the sun is down.

When is the best time to buy it?

Projectors like this usually dip during major sales events and when a newer model launches. Compare the current price against its recent range before buying.
