Our take on the Xotic Brands English Carousel Horse 28 Garden Animal Statue

The Xotic Brands English Carousel Horse is a 28-inch-tall freestanding garden statue in a stone finish, made of fiberglass and styled after a traditional carousel horse in a dynamic pose. At 43 inches long and 19 pounds, it is large enough to anchor a yard or porch display but light enough for two people to move. It is a decorative piece, not a ride-on or structural ornament. No current store price was provided, so compare listings before buying.

Questions and answers

Is it heavy enough to stay put outdoors?
At 19 lbs it is light for its size. Place it in a sheltered spot or anchor the base on windy sites.
Can kids sit or ride on it?
No. It is a decorative statue, not a ride-on, and the fiberglass shell is not built to carry weight.
Will the stone finish fade in the sun?
Fiberglass with a painted stone finish holds up outdoors but can fade or chalk over years of direct sun. A UV-resistant clear coat helps.
How big is it next to a person?
It stands 28 inches tall and 43 inches long, so roughly knee-to-waist height on an adult but wide enough to dominate a flower bed.
What do I need to set it up?
It arrives as one freestanding piece. Clear a level 43-inch area and, if needed, add a paver or stake kit under the base.
When is the best time to buy?
Garden statuary tends to discount in late summer and early fall as outdoor decor clears out. Track the price history before buying.
