Questions and answers

Is the Xueyu 12 inch writing tablet worth it?
For a toddler or preschooler it is a low-cost, reusable scribble board that replaces paper. It is not a substitute for a real drawing tablet, since it saves nothing and shows one color.
How do you erase the screen?
Press the clear button and the whole screen wipes at once. Flip the lock switch first if you want to keep a drawing from being erased.
Does it need batteries?
Yes. It uses a button-cell battery, which lasts a long time because the LCD only draws power when clearing. The battery is replaceable.
What comes in the box?
The tablet and a stylus. Check the listing for whether a spare battery or lanyard is included.
Is it safe for a 2-year-old?
The rounded corners and ABS body are designed for kids, but the stylus is small enough to be a choking concern. Supervise very young children.
When is it cheapest?
LCD writing tablets usually drop around back-to-school and holiday sales. Check the price history before buying.
