The Yamaha Rydeen is a five-piece acoustic kit aimed at beginners and intermediate players: 22" kick, 10" and 12" rack toms, 16" floor tom and a 14" snare, with Yamaha tom and pipe clamps included. Its ball mount lets you set the rack toms at any angle, and the P3-style bass drum head and steel hoop make tuning easier than on many budget kits. Hardware and cymbals beyond the included mounts are not part of the set. At $519.99 at Musician's Friend as of November 7, 2026, it sits at the low end of its recent range across the four stores that list it new.
