Questions and answers

Does this kit include hardware or cymbals?
No. It is a shell pack: drums only, with no stands, pedal, throne or cymbals. Budget for a hardware pack and cymbals on top of the drum price.
What sizes are in the five-piece kit?
The Stage Custom Birch five-piece typically pairs a 22-inch bass drum with 10, 12 and 16-inch toms and a 14-inch snare. Confirm the exact sizes with the store before ordering.
Is birch good for rock?
Yes. Birch has a bright attack and strong projection, which suits rock, pop and amplified gigs. Maple is warmer and rounder if you want a softer tone.
How does it compare with the Stage Custom Advantage or Tour Custom?
The Stage Custom Birch is the value all-birch option. Tour Custom moves to maple for a warmer sound at a higher price, while older Stage Custom lines are discontinued.
