- Do these candles need batteries?
- Yes. Flameless taper candles run on batteries, so budget for replacements or rechargeables. The listing does not state the cell size or runtime, so check the package before buying.
- Will they fit my candle holders?
- They are standard taper shape, so they fit most taper holders and candelabra. Measure your holder's socket if it is unusually narrow or wide.
- Are they safe around children and pets?
- Yes. There is no flame, no hot wax and no soot, so they can sit on low tables and shelves. The plastic body can still be knocked over, so keep glass or fragile holders out of reach.
- Is $23 a good price?
- It is the best new price among the three stores listing it as of November 7, 2026. Without a longer price history, treat it as a fair mid-range price for a set of moving-flame tapers.
- Can I use them outdoors?
- They can go on a covered porch, but they are not weatherproof. Rain and damp can get into the battery compartment, so bring them in when it rains.
