Questions and answers

Is kangaroo a good protein for dogs with allergies?
Kangaroo is a novel protein, so dogs that react to chicken, beef or grain often tolerate it. It helps most in a structured elimination trial supervised by a vet.
Is this food grain-free, and is that safe?
Yes, it is grain-free. The FDA has investigated a possible link between some grain-free diets and canine heart disease, so ask your vet before feeding it long term.
What size are the small bites?
The kibble is sized for toy and small breeds, roughly pea-sized. Large dogs can eat it but may gulp it without chewing.
Can puppies eat this formula?
It is labeled for all life stages, so puppies can eat it. Growing large-breed puppies may need a formula with more controlled calcium.
When is the price lowest?
