Is the Zinus 6 Inch Green Tea Twin good for adults?

It can work for lightweight adults and back or stomach sleepers. Heavier adults will likely want a thicker mattress with more support.

How long does it take to expand?

Zinus says the mattress expands within about 72 hours of unboxing. It may take a few days for any foam smell to fade.

Does it need a box spring?

No. It works on a platform bed, slatted frame or adjustable base. A box spring is optional.

Is it good for a bunk bed?

Yes. The 6-inch profile fits most bunk beds and trundles, and the twin size is a common bunk size.

Is $94.98 a good price?

That is $94.98 at Walmart as of November 7, 2026, and it is the only new listing found. It is a low price for a twin memory foam mattress.

What is the firmness?

It is a medium feel. The memory foam top layer softens under body heat, so it feels plusher than a firm mattress.

Our take on the Zinus 6 Inch Green Tea Twin

The Zinus 6 Inch Green Tea Memory Foam Mattress is a budget bed-in-a-box in twin size, with a medium feel and a green tea and charcoal-infused foam layer meant to reduce odor and regulate temperature. At 6 inches it is thin, so it suits kids, bunk beds, trundles and guest setups more than heavy adults. The best new price is $94.98 at Walmart as of November 7, 2026, the only new listing found, so it sits at the low end of what this mattress typically sells for.
