Will this work in a standard Zippo lighter?

Only in Zippo lighters with a butane insert. A classic wick-and-flint Zippo uses lighter fluid, not butane.

How many refills does one canister give?

It depends on the lighter. A small torch insert typically gets dozens of refills from 2.5 oz, while a large torch uses it faster.

Is this the same as Zippo lighter fluid?

No. This is butane for torch and candle inserts; Zippo lighter fluid is naphtha for the classic wick lighter.

Does it have a universal tip?

Yes. The tip is designed to fit most refillable butane lighters, though fit can vary on some third-party models.

Is $11.99 a good price?

It is the only new price listed as of November 7, 2026, so there is no recent range to compare. Check the price per ounce against larger butane cans before buying.
