Best iPad mini tablets
Researched by Deal.ai's shopping agent across stores on November 2, 2026. Prices below are today's.
Top pick: the iPad mini with the A20 Pro chip. It's the newest generation, with an 8.5-inch OLED screen, a thinner, lighter body and the most future-proof performance — the one to buy if you want the mini at its best and plan to keep it for years.
Who the others suit:
- iPad mini (A17 Pro, 7th gen): the sensible value choice — still fast, still pocketable, and the model most accessories are made for.
- iPad mini (2024) / iPad Mini 7: essentially the same 8.3-inch design; pick whichever listing has the storage and colour you want.
- Wi-Fi + Cellular versions: worth it only if you'll use it away from Wi-Fi.
Skip the older iPad mini with iOS 12 — it's long past software support.
