Best L-shaped sectionals with a drop-down table under $1000

Top pick: ERYE L-Shaped Pull-Out Sleeper with Drop-Down Table — it's the only one here that genuinely has the drop-down console, and it adds cup holders and charging ports, so it doubles as the movie-night seat. Chenille upholstery, and it pulls out to a bed for guests.

Also worth a look:

• Unbranded Modern Gray 102" sectional — the cleaner, more grown-up look if you want a plain gray L with a reversible drop-down table and no sleeper mechanism.
• Corduroy Console Sectional — a console-style option, but it's a large U/console layout rather than a true L, so check your room.
• Fareforth / Meeyar boneless sectionals — the budget route if the table matters less than the price; neither has a drop-down table.

One thing to plan for: these ship flat-packed, so allow an evening for assembly.
