Best latte art printers under $30

Top pick: the ponuili manual latte art printer — it's the one with a real user rating, it's a self-contained stencil printer rather than a bare camera-shaped gadget, and it comes with stencils so you can start pouring art the day it arrives.

Who the others suit:

• Huiing 3D latte art printer — best if you want a set with four interchangeable patterns and a clean white look on the counter.
• Unbranded stencil printer — pick this if you'd rather have a bigger stencil library (4, 12 or 30 reusable stencils) to rotate designs.
• EASYHAUTE / ROLLMILI — the priciest of the bunch; only worth it if you specifically want a 350 ml-capacity unit or that exact model.
• Cheap "3D printed latte art camera" listings — fine as a novelty or gift, but they're stencil holders with little info and, in one case, a poor rating.

All are manual stencil printers, not electronic ink printers — at this price that's what you get, and they work best on a firm, dry foam surface.
