Best Lenovo ThinkPad T14 laptops

Top pick: ThinkPad T14 Gen 7 with 32GB RAM — the newest generation, and the memory headroom is what keeps a business laptop comfortable for years of browser tabs, spreadsheets and video calls. It's the one I'd buy for general work.

Who the others suit:

• T14 Gen 6 (Core Ultra 5) — the sensible middle: current-gen Intel, 14" 1920×1200 IPS, and the highest owner rating of the bunch.
• T14 Gen 5 (AMD) — best if you want AMD efficiency and a lower entry point; still a solid, current-feeling machine.
• T14 Gen 7 touchscreen (Ryzen 7 PRO) — pick this if you annotate documents or present a lot and want the touch panel.
• T14 Gen 4 (Core i7) — only if budget matters more than generation; it's older silicon.

All are 14" business machines with the ThinkPad keyboard and durability, so the choice comes down to generation and RAM.
