Best pine bedroom dressers

Top pick: the From the Tree Furniture solid pine 4-drawer dresser. It's the only one here that's genuinely solid pine and comfortably under 60 inches wide, so it's the honest answer to "pine" rather than a pine-look finish. Four drawers is modest, so it suits a guest room, a small primary bedroom or a child's room more than a two-person wardrobe.

Who the others suit:

• Better Homes & Gardens Lillian fluted 4-drawer — the natural-pine finish look for less, if you want the style and can live with a composite build.
• Kaywood dresser — the widest storage that still clears 60 inches, for someone who needs drawer count over wood species.
• Alouette 7-drawer wide — the most drawers and the most furniture-like feel, for a main bedroom where budget matters less.

Check the width and the wood species on each card before you commit — "pine finish" and "solid pine" are very different things.
