Best plug-in hanging ceiling fans with remote control

Top pick: MULE Swag Plug-in Ceiling Fan with Remote. It's the one that ticks every box — a true plug-in fan that hangs, comes with a remote, and its DC motor runs quietly with three speeds. Fully wet-rated, so a covered porch or gazebo is fine too.

Who the others suit:

• Fanbulous 20″ weatherproof plug-in — if you want more control: six speeds, dimmable 3-colour light, remote plus app, and a sealed IP65 build for exposed patios.
• Lbsored 28″ gazebo fan — a bigger, brighter hanging fan with a hook mount and app control when you want light and airflow over a wide area.
• Seasonize 20″ caged plug-in — a compact caged look for a small porch or sunroom; it plugs in and has a remote, but it's a flush mount rather than a hanging one.

Skip the socket-style and hardwired fans here — they need ceiling wiring, not an outlet.
