Start with the TroyStudio PEF sheet. It's the only one here that states real performance — about 22 dB of noise reduction — and it's a true closed-cell PEF with a foil face, so it also blocks heat and moisture. Peel-and-stick, 13" × 78", 0.4" thick: best all-rounder for lining panels, doors or a van wall.

Who the others suit:

• Neoprene sheet (1/4" × 12" × 59") — clean, flat sheets for gaskets, seals and small weatherproofing jobs.
• NOBRAND kraft-backed roll — big-area car sound deadening where you want to pick your thickness.
• Uxcell 8-pack pads — small cut-to-fit patches for anti-slip and vibration.
• XCEL roll — a wide 17" × 72" roll for covering larger flat surfaces.

Skip the TWCUSEP and XCEL Marine rolls if closed-cell is a must — neither states it.
