Best squishy advent calendars for kids

Top pick: Schylling NeeDoh Advent Calendar — 24 Teenie NeeDoh squishies, one a day, from the brand that made squishy toys a thing. Small, satisfying to squeeze, and the safest bet for a wide age range.

Who the others suit:

• Squishy Advent Calendar (24 squishy minis) — best all-rounder if you want a big pile of stress-ball-style squishies; well rated by buyers.
• Squishmallows Squish-A-Long — for a plush-obsessed kid who wants characters, not just squish; listed for ages 6+.
• Squishmallows Squishville — the premium collector version, with 24 mini plush; best for a child already deep into Squishmallows.
• Christmas Dumpling Squishy — cute, novelty dumpling shapes for a younger child who just wants to squeeze something funny.
• NeeDoh Squishmas — 24 unique sensory Teenie toys, ages 3+, if you want the widest variety of textures.

Check the age grade on each: most squishy minis are small and aimed at 6+, so skip them for toddlers who still mouth toys.
