Best Star Wars video games for PS5

Top pick: Star Wars Jedi: Survivor — the best all-round PS5 Star Wars game: a proper lightsaber action-adventure with real exploration, strong story and the most polished combat of the bunch. Start here if you want one game to sink 30+ hours into.

Who the others suit:

• Star Wars Outlaws — open-world scoundrel fantasy: speeders, syndicates, heists. Best if you'd rather be a smuggler than a Jedi.
• Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order — the first chapter of the same story; play it before Survivor if you care about continuity.
• LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga — all nine films retold, huge and co-op friendly; ideal for families or younger players.
• Star Wars: Squadrons — cockpit dogfights in X-wings and TIE fighters; pick it for multiplayer space combat.
• Star Wars: Galactic Racer — arcade podracing-style speed; the lightest, most pick-up-and-play option.
• Star Wars: Zero Company — squad-based tactics, for strategy fans who like planning more than reflexes.

Check the platform on each card: a few listings in this batch are PC or older-console versions rather than PS5 discs.
